There is no shortage of free ski technique videos. The problem is order. Watching an advanced angulation drill before your stance is sorted does not just fail to help, it builds a compensation you will have to unlearn later. These courses are sequenced: each module assumes the previous one is in place, and tells you honestly when you are not ready for the next step.

What Each Course Covers
- Stance and BalanceThe foundation everything else sits on. Where your weight actually is, and why the position you think you are in is rarely the one on camera.
- Edge ControlFrom basic edging to the moment the ski starts cutting instead of sliding. The single change most skiers are missing.
- Pressure TimingWhen force is applied through the turn, not just how much. This is what separates a clean arc from a skidded one.
- Turn Shape in Both RadiiShort and long radius, and choosing between them by intent rather than by accident.
- Matching Dryland WorkEach on snow module has an off snow counterpart, so progress does not stop when the season does.

The modules are being filmed on the glacier this autumn, because a course about edge angle needs footage from firm early season snow rather than whatever the weather allowed. The Common ErrorWhat almost everyone does instead, why it feels correct from the inside, and how to tell the difference without a coach beside you.

Take It to the MountainTwo or three drills you can run on your next ski day, with a clear description of what a successful repetition feels like.

Film and CompareA phone clip of your own run set against the reference footage. This is the step most people skip, and the one that makes the difference.

How is this different from free videos on YouTube?
Honestly, the individual tips are often the same. What is missing on YouTube is order and honesty about prerequisites. An algorithm shows you the most watched clip, not the one you are ready for, so people spend years drilling advanced movements on top of a foundation that cannot support them. These courses are sequenced, and each module states plainly what has to be in place before you start it.
I am a beginner. Is this for me?
Partly. The Foundation course assumes you can already get down a blue run and stop safely. If you have never had skis on, video will not replace a first day with an instructor beside you. Start with private lessons or a glacier course, and use the courses afterwards to keep the progress.
How long does it take to work through?
The video time itself is a few hours. The realistic answer is a season. Each module gives you something to take to the mountain, and it takes a handful of ski days before a new movement stops being something you have to think about. Rushing through the videos in a weekend achieves nothing.
Can I watch on a phone or a television?
Both. The modules are built for phone viewing on the lift, and the analysis segments work well on a larger screen when you want to see the frame by frame detail.
When exactly do the courses launch?
Filming happens during the autumn glacier courses, and the first course is planned for the 2026/27 season. Everyone on the waitlist is told the moment a module goes live, and gets the opening carving module free before deciding anything.
Is there a refund if the course is not right for me?
You receive the opening module free before you buy anything, which is the best way to judge whether the format suits you. Refund terms will be published alongside the courses at launch.
