No generic templates. Just individualized performance coaching.
Every athlete has a unique biomechanical blueprint, injury history, and access to different training equipment. A pre-made workout plan can only take you so far. Our custom training plans are designed entirely from scratch for you. Whether you are rehabilitating a post-op knee, training for your next FIS race, or simply want to carve dynamic turns without back pain, we build the exact macrocycle your body needs to succeed on the mountain.
What separates a custom plan from a training template
A template knows your age, maybe your weight. It does not know that your
left ankle lost range of motion after an old fracture, and that this is
exactly why your right turns break down earlier. A custom plan does not
start with an exercise list. It starts with the question of which quality
is missing on which side.
Why off-the-shelf programs run out of road for skiers
Most fitness plans online are written for symmetrical sports. Skiing is the opposite: your body has to deliver the same movement on both sides hundreds of times per run, while left and right differ in strength, mobility and reaction speed. A one-size plan trains both sides identically and cements the exact gap that limits you on snow. That is why our programming starts with a unilateral screening rather than a training split.
100% Individualized
Built for your blueprint.
Your program is tailored to your age, your current fitness level, the difference between your two sides and your specific alpine goals.
Rehab and Prehab
Training around injuries.
We modify exercises to accommodate previous joint issues, ensuring safe progression and fortifying your weak links.
Gym Flexibility
Train where you are.
Full commercial gym, a home garage setup, or just bodyweight and resistance bands, we adapt the drills to what you actually have.
Continuous Feedback
Direct coach access.
Weekly check-ins, form corrections by video and ongoing progression tracking through your Ski11 Athlete Portal.
What every plan is built on
- Unilateral baselineEach side is assessed separately. Averaging both legs hides the exact weakness that limits you in the turn.
- Eccentric leg strengthControlled yielding under load, so your quads and glutes can absorb force at the apex of the turn instead of collapsing.
- Ankle and hip mobilityUsable range of motion rather than passive flexibility. A blocked ankle reliably pushes your centre of mass backwards.
- Neuromuscular coordinationUnstable surfaces and cross-body drills, so your nervous system delivers micro-corrections faster than you can consciously think them.
- Anti-rotation core stabilityHolding upper body discipline while the lower body works independently. That is the prerequisite for clean separation.
- Periodization to your season startThe plan is counted backwards from your first day on snow, so your peak lands when you need it and not in August.
How Your Plan Is Built
Four steps from the intake form to your first training block.
01
The AssessmentYou fill out a detailed intake form covering medical history, your ski level, your goals and the equipment you genuinely have access to.
02
Movement ScreeningYou work through a structured set of at-home self-assessments, exactly as described on the sheet we send you, and record them. A normal smartphone is entirely sufficient, and each one is done left side and right side separately.
03
Your Plan Is WrittenWe design your initial four week block, complete with video demonstrations for every exercise and a clear order of what has to be in place first.
04
Execution and AdjustmentWe track your metrics weekly and scale the intensity as you get stronger. The plan does not stand still while you change.
Expect three to five working days between your intake form and the finished plan.

How is this different from the ready-made dryland program?
The dryland program is a very good but pre-built block: the same exercises for everyone, in the same order. A custom plan starts from your screening and deviates exactly where your body demands it, for example a blocked side, an old injury, or fitting two sessions a week instead of four. If you are healthy and simply want a structured start, the standard program is entirely enough.
Do I need a gym or special equipment?
No. Tell us in the form what you have available and the plan is built around it. A Bosu ball and a few bands help, but a large share of the work is bodyweight, single leg control and mobility. If you have gym access we use it, the program is never dependent on it.
How much time do I need each week?
Typically three to five sessions of 45 to 70 minutes, depending on the block and your schedule. Frequency matters more than length: two short sessions that happen every week beat one long session that gets skipped twice a month.
I have had knee surgery or an ACL reconstruction. Can I join?
In most cases yes, once your rehabilitation has been medically cleared. Send us your report and your current physiotherapy status first. The plan does not replace medical treatment, it starts where rehab finishes and respects the restrictions that still apply.
What exactly do I film for the movement screening?
A structured set of at-home self-assessments, which we describe step by step on the sheet that comes with the form. They need no equipment and very little space, and each one is done left side and right side separately, since the comparison is the whole point. A phone propped on a chair is fine, and steady framing matters far more than resolution.
When should I start building?
Twelve weeks before your first day on snow is ideal, which in practice means September or October. Four weeks still makes a noticeable difference to balance and joint stability, with the focus shifting from building to activation. The Elite Partnership is the exception, it runs year-round.
What happens if my schedule changes mid-block?
The plan gets adjusted, not abandoned. On the Macrocycle and the Elite Partnership this is accounted for: travel, illness or an intense work period shift the periodization instead of writing off the whole build. Tell us early and the effect is preserved.
Is this a medical or physiotherapy service?
No, and the distinction matters. We assess movement patterns and training capacity, not tissue health. We do not diagnose injuries and we do not treat pain. For acute symptoms, seeing a doctor or physiotherapist comes first, and our coaching begins after their clearance.
Cancellation and refunds
- Before your plan is startedCancel at any point before we begin writing and you get the full amount back. No reason needed.
- Once the plan has been startedFrom then on there is no refund, because the work is already done and the finished plan is yours either way.
- If your screening footage cannot be usedYou hear about it before anything is written, and you are refunded in full. You are never charged for footage we cannot read.
